On October 2nd, 2006, BitDefender released a critical product update for all versions of BitDefender Client. Following this update, BitDefender Client starts reporting errors on all subsequent updates.
The local update server module (BitDefender Update Server) that comes with BitDefender Enterprise Manager v2.6 does not manage to download updates for the clients if the internet connection requires a proxy server with authentication.
