Troubleshooting early expiration

This article describes the steps to take if BitDefender displays the expiration message before time.

Detailed description:

If BitDefender reports that it is expired before it should then please follow the steps below:
  1. Check the license key:
    • Open BitDefender and click Registration;
    • Verify the license key appearing in the Registration window (it should be the one received after purchasing BitDefender). If the license key from the Registration window is the same with the purchased on, please click on Finish. If you see there a different license key, please click I want to register the product with a new key, enter your license key and then click on Finish;
  2. BitDefender Online Account. You need to create a BitDefender Online Account which will give you priority in support, a safe place to keep information about your license key and more other details regarding your security product.
