The mentioned patch fixes the following issues:
- the product console crashes while browsing Exchange mailboxes on Windows 2003 SBS (BitDefender Security for Exchange);
- in some situations the bdsmtpproxy.exe process uses excessive CPU time (BitDefender Security for Mail Servers - Windows).
The patch installs over BitDefender Security for Windows Servers version 2.4.212 and is available via the automatic product update. In order to apply the patch please open
BitDefender, go to
Update, click
Product Update and then
Install.
Note: this update may require a server reboot in order to successfully apply. In order to avoid this server restart please perform the following action:
- restart the product console and the BitDefender Enterprise Manager Client service (BitDefender Security for Exchange);
- restart the BitDefender SMTP Proxy service.
