How to expand the number of scan path exclusions

By default, the Enterprise Management console allows for 7 path exclusions to be pushed to managed client installations. This number can be expanded to over 40, using modified files supplied by BitDefender. This article will assist you with implementing this modification.
Detailed description:
To expand your path exclusion capabilities, do the following:
- Exit the BitDefender Enterprise Management console;
- Download the .zip file;
- Extract the files p_configure.tsi and s_configure.tsi to the location C:\Program Files\Softwin\BitDefender Enterprise Manager\BitDefender Server\Task Templates
- Be sure to overwrite any files, when prompted;
- Start the BitDefender Enterprise Management console;
- To verify that the patched files have been applied, go to Tasks -> Task Templates - Configure Client;
- Click Next to get to the Task Options screen;
- Check Configure Shield Options;
- Check Exclude Paths From Scan;
- When it expands, you should see over 40 exclusion fields. This confirms that the patched files have been applied properly.
