The situation has been fixed by our team in a product update released on May 8th. The patch resolving this situation was made available on our update servers. Thus, in order to apply the fix all you need to do is ensure that BitDefender is up-to-date: open BitDefender, go to 'Update' and click 'Update now'.
If the situation persists, in order to troubleshoot it we recommend the following:

* disable 'Scan HTTP traffic' from the Antivirus section (click on Custom Level);
* disable 'Privacy control' from the AntiSpyware section (Custom Level);
* disable the 'Parental Control' (in BitDefender Internet Security v10).
