BitDefender releases a major product update on April 10th

The major update released on April 10th for BitDefender 10 product family includes several fixes as well as some new features to bring the products closer to our customer's needs.

FIXES

1. The red X mark sometimes appears on the File Zone window after an update though the Virus Shield is enabled and scanning in the background;
2. Some applications (such as games and video editing software) were blocked by BDAgent;
3. The Scheduler displays a different hour than the one set;
4. The 'No threats were detected after the scan' message was not displayed correctly;
5. In few cases Outlook Express does not respond when closing;
6. The password does not fully protect the product settings;
7. The Privacy module appears as not configured even if it was set;
8. Complete integration for the antispam toolbar in Microsoft Outlook 2007;
9. Other fixes for issues detected in the testing lab.

NEW FEATURES

1. A new confirmation dialog when attempting to delete the events;
2. Restore default settings option;
   
3. The new BitDefender baloon presents the status of the product.
