BitDefender Antispam for Mail Servers drops all incoming mail

 

Issue:

If left unconfigured, BitDefender Antispam for Mail Servers drops all incoming mail.


Solution:

We recommend the following steps:

  1. Specify the proxy settings for the SMTP server.

    Go to the AntiSpam section, then the SMTP settings and enter the proxy settings.

  2. Specify the security settings.

    In the same window type the local domain (in order to receive mail) and the network address (in order to send mail through the proxy). Click the Add E-mail Domain to add local domains. For network address you must click the Add Net Domain button and enter the network address and mask.
